the Club
Founded in 1908, The Country Club of Virginia is a private, traditional, family-oriented social club dedicated to providing its members excellent programs, activities, facilities, and services.
Across two campuses situated seven miles apart, the Club offers its members 54 holes of golf, a fitness/racquet sports complex, five pools, a state-of-the-art golf practice facility, multiple restaurants, special event venues, and more.

Golf
The Club features three golf courses across its two campuses: the Westhampton Course, James River Course, and Tuckahoe Creek Course.
The James River Course has served as the host of the Dominion Energy Charity Classic, a PGA TOUR Champions Charles Schwab Cup Playoff Event since 2016, as well as the USGA Men's Amateur Championships in 1955 and 1975.
Events & Weddings
The Country Club of Virginia hosts member-sponsored events on both the Westhampton and James River Campus. Two distinctive clubhouses provide a variety of unique environments with space for everything from wedding receptions, social gatherings, corporate meetings, sports outings, family celebrations, and more.
